Mr. Casey has been recording and documenting his work by video since the first VHS Camera was on the market in 1989. He used the tapes as the basis of his educational programs at the Casey & Son Horseshoeing School. In 1992, a small research laboratory was developed and turned into the Farriers' National Research Center and School, Inc. opening on the scene in 2001. At the same time the popularity of offering equine related tv shows was in a frenzy when the RFD-TV and HorseTV channels appeared on Dish Network, DirectTV and cable stations nationwide. We immediately jumped on the band wagon with our Horseshoe'n Time television show and Casey Productions, LLC was formed.
We attracted attention from the horse owning public and certainly by farriers in the business. We were very popular in good and controversial ways, but we kept on improving with each year. It has been the most popular show about horseshoeing to air on any network, and actually the ONLY show dedicated solely to the hoof, trimming and shoeing horses. With the availability of horses and activity of the FNRC, our work is never ending !
The expense of outsourcing our work became obsolete in 2005 with the onset of new technology in editing became available to the general public. We film, edit and produce our own shows in house.
Casey travelled to horseshoeing schools and all across the U.S. to promote Horseshoe'n Time and since has acquired a dependable group of sponsors. As new products are offered to the FNRC, reports can be made on the progress.
The shows have led us to producing educational DVD's of How-To and Product Information and Lectures. We are expanding everyday to include more avenues for those in the horse industry, primarily the farrier industry.
Horseshoe'n Time television shows are copyrighted by Casey Productions, LLC and is a separate identity from the FNRC.
